In 1957 Ronald Thompson opened a sawmill on the Darling Downs. From that mill grew a building company, and from the building company a family of companies that has been building in Queensland ever since.
Today the third generation, Brendan and Brad Thompson, lead the group from the Sunshine Coast. Thompson Commercial is its commercial construction division, launched in 2026 and run by a team with over $200M in delivered projects behind them.
